Fragbite reported that Fnatic won the wildcard spot to Inferno Online League Final 4 at Dreamhack, with this there is two teams now and two to come. There was a vote on fragbite with a couple of swedish teams where the swedish people clearly choosed fnatic. I think this is stupid, to pick a team thats not even interested in joining the qualifiers and always get some stupid wildcard. I don't mean that they suck, they are one (maybe the best) of the best teams in the world. Just don't like that they get wildcard to swedish tournaments they don't even bother to sign up to. However there will be some online qualifiers with playoff in May month.

H2k earlier annonuced that their CS1.6 team replaced Samuel "Zyppe" Martinsson with maybe more hungrier player Jon "hyvlarn" Edelsvärd who comes directly from a really successful team, Playzone. Jon who won Hazard last week and 4 000€ with Playzone-Gaming but also LanBauer before that with a mixteam. However it will go with H2k is about to see, hyvlarn aslo explained that it wasn't easy leaving Playzone-Gaming. I really think thats BS, because i've got some inside info that it's been some arguing between hyvlarn and playzone. The main reason to why H2k replaced Zyppe is that according to them is that he lost motivation, Zyppe hasn't commented this yet.

As the title says, Dakarma took a surprising win against the professional and well known Counter-Strike 1.6 team mTw (mortal Team work) and there by qualifies to the Danish Championship, which will be helt at Copenhagen Games the 1st of April 2010. The match was played in Bo3 system, and for those who don't know what this means.. it's simply: Best of 3 maps. Dakarma played flawless and took the first map with 16-10 on the relativly new map de_tuscan. Next map was picked by mTw and they choosed de_inferno, but they didn't easily win this map, but they won with 16-11 and the result was 1-1 before the last map which dakarma choosed, de_dust2. Well the topic spoiled it all, dakarma won the 3:rd map with 16-12 and secured a spot at the Danish Championship. But I can also say that dakarma was really accused of cheating on the well known danish community, XplayN.

They might be the best Counter-Strike 1.6 team, but the website they have is not at the same level... it sucks to be honest. We can now report that it's happend again, the well known australian organization has once again got their website hacked. The biggest difference between the last hacking and this is that now the hackers have removed the entire website, and they didn't leave it blank. When you visit Fnatic.com you'll be welcomed by a picture that says "CATS: ALL YOUR SITES are BELONG TO US, pwned by nvrblnd". However this will develop is about to see, you can expect a statement from fnatic on their facebook group. There are suspicions that this is a PR trick because they still have the google-analytics code on the site. I think this is bullshit to be honest, i've heard that this kinds of things are not hard to fix.. and fnatic has been hacked like 20 times in a year. this is more likely beeing a PR-trick in my opinion. I'll leave the discussion to you guys..

Team Pandemic closed down recently, leaving their teams without a home. With the ESEA season 5 LAN finals taking place from 12th March to 14th March, the old Pandemic 1.6 team had been very quiet about their next moves, maybe due to a lack of motivation.

Damage Inc would step to the plate with their new sponsor and offer the 1.6 team the support they need. After a rollercoaster year in 2009 they certainly came into 2010 with a bang and adding the ex-Pandemic team could put the motivation back into the 1.6 team that could bring out their potential.

 With players like Mikey “Method” So and Mason “Mason” Dickens this team is far from short on experience and should not be underestimated. On paper, most would expect this team to keep up with the likes of EG and coL but while playing for Pandemic the team didn’t perform as expected. If the team puts in the time they will definitely be a team to watch out for in the North American scene.
